$500 Scholarship

The Bell-Knox-Whitley KY-ASAP organization awards a $500 scholarship for the most deserving senior from each county (Bell, Knox, Whitley), having shown the greatest effort toward drug prevention initiatives in the student's school/community. Applications must be received by April 15th of each year.

The Bell-Knox-Whitley KY ASAP board reserves the right to not fund any scholarships based on the quality of scholarships submitted.

 

*Cumulative GPA (grade point average) and School Attendance Percentage year to date are required.

** Two school references are required as well. 

***Scholarships are a single $500 disbursement to a scholar and are nonrenewable.

Student Scholarship:
Essay prompt

In the digital application, you will be prompted to upload a document for the essay in which you should describe in depth your activities in promoting a drug-free lifestyle at your school and in your community.

Examples can include your involvement in prevention clubs, campaigns or local agencies.

** Please include your original signature and the original signature and printed name of your parent/guardian on the essay.
