$1000 Scholarship

The Bell-Knox-Whitley KY-ASAP organization awards a scholarship for the most deserving senior from each county (Bell, Knox, Whitley), having shown the greatest effort and student leadership towards drug prevention initiatives in the student's school/community. Applications must be received by due date (2026 TBD).

The Bell-Knox-Whitley KY ASAP board reserves the right to not fund any scholarships based on the quality of scholarships submitted.

 

*Cumulative GPA (grade point average) and School Attendance Percentage year to date are required.

** Two school references are required as well. 

***Scholarships are a single disbursement directly to the scholar and are nonrenewable.

Student Scholarship:
Essay prompt

In the digital application, you will be prompted to upload a document for the essay in which you should describe in depth your activities in promoting a drug-free lifestyle at your school

and your community.

Examples can include your involvement in prevention clubs, campaigns, risk reduction initiatives or local community prevention agencies.

​

** Essays must be original student work including evidence of involvement.

** Contact information including both student and guardian contact information

(phone and email and mailing address).
